The importance of diversifying economic growth resources was touched upon in the Motion for Royal Speech by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence.

This includes aggressive and strategic implementation to achieve Wawasan Brunei 2035 goals, including exploring strategic investments in new sectors. Apart from that, His Majesty's titah also stressed on the importance of diversifying economic growth resources as well as strengthening the role of the private sector and micro, small and medium enterprises, MSME's as the main driver of the country's economic resilience.​
